Based on synthetic high-Fe magnesia and spinel clinker, this brick is a perfect substitute of direct-bonded magnesia chrome brick but more environmental friendly. The introduction of Fe2O3 make itself spreading into the crystal lattice of periclase, and exsolute Iron Magnesia spinel (MF); the solubility of MF changes with temperature, and adds flexibility to the crystal lattice, thus improves the thermal capability of material. The Fe/Al in the refactory reacts with cement clinker, and forms the low-melting-point mineral facies. With certain level of viscosity, it helps a stable coating on the lining.
